A leading boutique fitness group is seeking a Head of Reformer to lead its Reformer Pilates offering across multiple studio concepts. This is a senior leadership role within the Movement team, responsible for shaping the identity, quality, and future development of the Reformer genre across the business. Working closely with the senior Movement leadership team, the Head of Reformer will oversee coaching standards, team development, programming, and concept evolution across the group. The role requires strong leadership presence, a deep understanding of Reformer Pilates, and the ability to build a high-performing, values-led coaching culture.
This multi-brand fitness group operates within the premium boutique fitness sector, delivering high-quality, experience-led training across multiple movement concepts. The organisation is focused on building distinctive training identities within each modality, while maintaining consistency in coaching standards, culture, and member experience across all locations. The Movement division oversees programming, education, and coach development across all disciplines, with a strong emphasis on quality, innovation, and brand alignment. The Basics:
- Salary: £37,200 +£5k discretionary bonus based on KPIs (visits within their pillar), paid twice a year
- Holiday: 4 weeks
- Structure: 15 classes + 15 hours admin per week (flexibility to be discussed depending on candidate availability; package reflective of structure agreed)

Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Culture
- Lead, inspire, and develop the Reformer coaching team across the group.
- Set the benchmark for coaching quality, professionalism, and energy.

- Genre Identity & Experience
- Shape and evolve the Reformer offering across all studio concepts.
- Ensure consistency of delivery while respecting the identity of each brand.
- Maintain a deep understanding of audience, experience, and positioning across all concepts.
- Drive innovation and development within the Reformer genre.
- Programming & Concept Development
- Develop, refine, and maintain Reformer class concepts and programming frameworks.
- Collaborate with senior leadership on new class formats and ideas.
- Ensure programming remains engaging, progressive, and aligned with brand direction.
- Coach Development & Team Management
- Lead auditions, recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing performance feedback.
- Deliver workshops, training sessions, and structured development pathways.
- Conduct regular performance reviews with support from the wider leadership team.
- Maintain high standards across all coaching delivery.
- Collaboration
- Work closely with the wider Movement leadership team and other modality leads.
- Contribute to cross-discipline programming and strategic development.
- Ensure alignment across all studio concepts and training experiences.
- Operational Standards
- Oversee consistency and quality control across all Reformer classes.
- Support scheduling, staffing, and operational alignment where required.
- Ensure adherence to internal frameworks and coaching standards.
The Person:
- Minimum 1–2 years Reformer Pilates teaching experience (certified instructor).
- Previous experience in a leadership, senior instructor, or mentoring role preferred.
- Strong presence with the ability to lead, inspire, and influence teams.
- Highly organised, proactive, and solutions-focused approach.
- Passionate about coaching, community, and movement culture.
- Strong understanding of Reformer Pilates and class programming principles.
- Creative and innovative mindset with an interest in evolving training concepts.
