An exciting opportunity awaits an experienced, creative, and highly strategic Social Media Manager to join a specialist marketing agency dedicated exclusively to the fitness, wellness, and wellbeing world. Working across multiple leading fitness brands, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands the nuances of different audiences and brand personalities, and can confidently shape, lead, and execute social strategy with impact.
This position demands someone who lives and breathes fitness culture, particularly with an understanding and awareness of CrossFit, and knows how to translate that authenticity into compelling digital storytelling, community engagement, and measurable growth. You will be required to manage multiple clients who all have different expectations and demands. An ability to work under pressure, in an organised fashion and to time manage is essential!

1. Social Media Strategy & Leadership
- Lead and co-own social media strategy across multiple fitness brands, ensuring clarity, consistency, and commercial alignment.
- Develop platform-first strategies across Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube, tailored to each brand's tone, audience, and objectives.
- Drive awareness, engagement, and growth through bold creative thinking and structured planning.
- Stay plugged into industry shifts, digital culture, fitness trends, and platform updates to keep brands culturally relevant and ahead of the curve.
- Build agile, reactive content strategies that balance long-term planning with fast-paced execution.
2. Community Management & Engagement
- Act as the digital voice of each brand — warm, engaging, human, and confident.
- Where needed, manage comments, DMs, tags, mentions and online conversations with personality and care.
- Build meaningful relationships with customers, athletes, members, ambassadors, and influencers.
- Turn followers into fans; engagement into advocacy.
3. Content Creation & Execution
- Where required, attend brand events, competitions, classes, and activations to create authentic, on-the-ground stories.
- Publish content with pace and precision, ensuring brands stay dynamic, current, and engaging.
- Create graphics, copy, captions and visual storytelling that are always on-brand and compelling.
- Be hands-on in content creation where needed — filming Reels, editing TikToks, capturing raw behind-the-scenes footage, and building a blend of high-quality and lo-fi content that feels real and relatable.
4. The Person...
- Experience managing social media for a brand or agency, ideally within fitness, wellness, sports, or lifestyle.
- Videography/photography experience in capturing and producing content.
- Strategic thinker with the confidence to shape direction and guide best practice across multiple brands.
- A genuine passion for CrossFit is a real bonus - understand the culture, the community, the language, and the lifestyle.
- Creative storyteller with a strong eye for content, trends, and visual identity.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with natural brand tone instincts.
- Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Curious, forward-thinking, and energized by building brands in a fast-moving environment.
- A self-starter who takes ownership, brings ideas to the table, and delivers with pride.
