A leading personal training company in London is seeking self-employed Personal Trainers to join their dynamic team. Unlike many freelance roles in the industry, trainers do not pay rent or fees to the studio. Instead, they become an integral part of the team, with access to a company email address, branded training kit, and a professional profile on the company website. The company prides itself on excellence in every detail, from client interactions to studio presentation, and is looking for coaches who see personal training as a career, not just a job.

The Basics:

  • Hours: 6AM - 1AM Mon - Fri + 8AM - 1PM Sat
  • Pay: £27 - £40 per session (depending on total monthly sessions delivered)
  • Location: Mayfair + Fitzrovia

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coaching + Client Results
    • Deliver exceptional 1:1 personal training, prioritising safety, technique and progression.
    • Conduct high-quality consultations, movement screens, goal setting and performance reviews.
    • Design structured, progressive, and varied training programs aligned with each client's goals and lifestyle.
  2. Client Experience + Retention
    • Be the main point of support for clients through check‐ins, accountability, habit coaching, recovery and lifestyle guidance.
    • Track and communicate progress using metrics such as performance, body composition, adherence and lifestyle behaviours.
    • Maintain strong client retention through consistent communication, outcome‐focused coaching and high‐touch service.
  3. Facility Standards & Safety
    • Ensure all members train safely and that all equipment and facilities are maintained to a professional standard.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organisation across training spaces at all times.
    • Report and log any maintenance issues, adhering to health and safety procedures.
  4. Team Contribution
    • Collaborate with the wider site team to achieve membership, engagement, and retention targets.
    • Support events, open days, and community initiatives that strengthen brand engagement.
    • Contribute to internal discussions and share member insights to improve programming and service delivery.
    • Provide cover and assistance across different roles when required, ensuring seamless operations across all sites.

The Person:

The ideal candidate is a dedicated personal trainer who sees this role as a long‐term career, embraces flexibility, and delivers an exceptional client experience. Detail‐oriented and service-minded, they attend to all aspects of the client journey, from communication to studio presentation. Humble and team‐oriented, they build strong rapport with clients while supporting all areas of studio operations.

Must Haves:

  • Level 3 Personal Trainer qualification (minimum).
  • Proven experience in delivering both personal and small‐group training.
  • Strong technical coaching skills with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Highly professional, proactive, and organised, with a commitment to excellence.
  • A genuine team player who thrives in a collaborative, high‐performance environment.
