Join West London’s premier Crossfit Box. As the Head of Fitness, you’ll be at the helm of their dynamic training team, driving their fitness and wellness programs, inspiring and developing the team, and ensuring every member reaches their potential within their buzzing, community-first environment.
The Role
Salary: £45,000
Working Hours: 30 hours p/w
Free access to the gym to run your own PT sessions
Leave: 25 Days per annum. (+ Bank Holidays)
You’ll take charge of the Gym’s fitness operations, ensuring world-class programming and delivery across group classes and personal training. Whether refining class timetables, mentoring coaches, or engaging members, you’ll look to deliver an exceptional offering, while building a supportive, results-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Elevate the CrossFit Experience:
- Define and drive the club’s CrossFit-centered fitness direction, ensuring programming aligns with their mission.
- Oversee the delivery of CrossFit group classes, PT sessions, and workshops, ensuring excellence in every interaction.
- Monitor and evolve programming to reflect the latest industry trends and research.
Lead and Inspire the Team:
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of exceptional coaches to deliver unparalleled member experiences.
- Regularly review Personal Training (PT) and group session programming, providing ongoing support and development for coaches.
- Create and execute a structured development plan for all team members, empowering them to grow and excel.
Drive Operational Excellence:
- Analyse class attendance, PT performance, and member feedback to optimise scheduling and improve services.
- Develop action plans to meet and exceed revenue and member engagement targets.
- Ensure seamless management of events, workshops, and community engagement programs.
- Stay on top of budgeting, staffing levels, and equipment maintenance.
Foster Community and Results:
- Build genuine relationships with members, offering motivation, guidance, and accountability beyond the training floor.
- Work closely with members to allocate them to the right programs and coaches for their goals.
- Create an environment that celebrates progress, builds camaraderie, and fosters the spirit of CrossFit: community, challenge, and growth.
The Person:
- Experience: 3+ years as a Personal Trainer and group exercise coach, with CrossFit-specific expertise. Some management experience preferred.
- Certifications: Certified PT and First Aid certifications are a must; CrossFit Level 1, (higher is a big plus)
- Passion: You live and breathe fitness, with a commitment to helping others achieve their potential.
- Skills: Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational abilities, coupled with a flair for motivating and uniting teams.
- Flexibility: Ability to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays when needed.
