Are you a commercially minded, high-energy leader ready to take full ownership of a flagship spa and wellness business? We are seeking a General Manager to lead a premium, design-led health and wellness concept in South West London, with a structured training and progression pathway and the opportunity to play a defining role in the growth of a multi-site brand. This is a rare opportunity for a GM who thrives in a startup environment, enjoys building systems and is motivated by performance and progression rather than maintenance.
Salary: £60k - £75k (depending on experience) + OTE potential

P&L Ownership and commercial performance:
- Set, manage, and deliver against ambitious commercial KPIs
- Drive membership sales performance from lead generation through conversion and retention
- Analyse financial and operational data to inform decision-making and identify growth opportunities
- Build and manage budgets, forecasts and performance reviews
- Lead the implementation and continuous improvement of operational SOPs
- Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery of the brand experience across all touchpoints
- Oversee facilities, services and hospitality offerings to luxury standards
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements
Member experience, sales and marketing:
- Champion an exceptional end-to-end member experience aligned with a premium brand position
- Personally lead and influence sales activity to maximise utilisation and retention
- Build strong relationships with members, partners and the local community
- Work closely with marketing and brand teams to support events, activations and partnerships
Team leadership and talent development:
- Recruit, onboard and develop a high-performing, service-led team
- Build a clear operational structure by empowering internal talent to take ownership of key functions
- Set performance standards and hold teams accountable through coaching and KPIs
- Build operational foundations that support future regional or group-level leadership
- Act as a brand ambassador, helping shape the long-term identity and reputation of the business
Requirements:
- Proven experience managing top-line and bottom-line performance
- Background in premium hospitality, luxury wellness, boutique fitness, or high-end service environments
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, with confidence owning a P&L
- A growth mindset – hungry, proactive, and motivated by performance-based reward
- Experience systematising operations rather than relying on ad-hoc management
- High emotional intelligence and the ability to inspire teams in fast-moving environments
