The Company: A new luxury wellness destination is launching in Chelsea, designed to seamlessly integrate fitness, recovery, therapy and elevated hospitality within a beautifully curated environment. Every detail of the experience is intentionally designed — from service standards and team culture to sensory environment and guest journey — to create a premium, restorative and transformative space. The business is pre-launch, with ambitious growth plans and a strong focus on scaling a high-end wellness offering across London and beyond.
The Role: As Assistant General Manager, you will support the General Manager in the day-to-day leadership of the studio, ensuring operational excellence, outstanding guest experience and strong commercial performance. You will play a key role in embedding systems, developing the team, and maintaining high standards across all departments, while also acting as a senior leader on-site. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring both strategic thinking and operational delivery.
- Salary: £35,000–£40,000 per year
- Full-time (40 hours per week)

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in overseeing all day-to-day studio operations and ensuring seamless execution across all departments.
- Lead by example on the front desk, setting the tone for service, culture and operational excellence.
- Deliver an exceptional guest experience and ensure consistency across all touchpoints.
- Support recruitment, onboarding and development of a high-performing front-line team.
- Help implement systems, processes and procedures to support scalability and growth.
- Monitor KPIs and contribute to performance reporting and improvement strategies.
- Oversee scheduling, staffing and operational coordination across departments.
- Liaise with instructors, therapists and external partners to ensure smooth daily delivery.
- Support membership growth, retention and guest engagement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and operational standards at all times.
- Cover leadership when required, acting as point of contact in the absence of the General Manager.
The Person: The ideal candidate is a confident, commercially minded operator with a passion for wellness, hospitality and premium guest experience. They will likely demonstrate:
- Experience in an Assistant General Manager, Operations Manager, Duty Manager or Supervisor in a service-first environment.
- Background in boutique fitness, luxury wellness, hospitality or premium service-led environments.
- Strong leadership skills with experience supporting and developing teams.
- Good commercial awareness with exposure to KPIs, budgets or revenue targets.
- A hands-on approach combined with the ability to think operationally and strategically.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work closely with senior leadership.

- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends.
