Are you a hands-on marketing strategist with a passion for wellness, brand-building, and growth, and a proven track record working with boutique fitness or wellness studios? We are working with a cutting-edge, experiential social wellness and movement space in London seeking an experienced Head of Marketing to lead their brand, growth, social and community strategy. This is a hands-on senior role for a strategic, creative marketer who thrives on both setting vision and executing campaigns. You’ll bring their immersive wellness, movement, contrast therapy and lifestyle experiences to life, building emotional connection, community engagement and long-term brand loyalty.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience marketing boutique fitness, wellness, or lifestyle studios, with a strong understanding of community-led growth, membership models, and the nuances of promoting in-person wellness experiences.
The Basics:
- Salary: £60,000 - £65,000
- Working Hours: 40 hours p/w (minimum), 4 days (minimum) on-site.

The Role...
Strategic Leadership
- Develop and deliver a multi-channel marketing strategy driving brand growth, lead generation and member engagement.
- Define the marketing vision, roadmap, KPIs and success metrics aligned with business and community goals.
- Partner with leadership to shape brand positioning, customer experience, and commercial strategy.
- Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, overseeing campaigns, launches and day-to-day marketing activity.
- Champion a data-informed approach, using insights to optimise campaigns and continuously improve performance.
Brand & Creative Direction
- Evolve and protect the brand identity, ensuring authenticity and emotional resonance across all touchpoints.
- Lead and actively contribute to creative campaigns - from digital storytelling to in-space experiences.
- Oversee content creation across social, email, website, and on-site communications.
- Collaborate with designers, photographers, videographers and external creatives to produce high-quality, culturally relevant output.
Community, Events + Partnerships:
- Build and nurture a deeply engaged community through storytelling, experiences, and immersive events.
- Support marketing of classes, workshops, retreats, and events, often being on-site and involved in delivery.
- Develop local and national partnerships with aligned wellness, lifestyle, cultural and brand collaborators.
- Lead community events, influencer activations, sponsorships, and co-marketing initiatives.
Digital Marketing + Growth:
- Apply light-touch digital marketing skills to support campaigns across paid social, CRM, email and website.
- Work with external digital marketing company to execute digital strategies.
- Collaborate with the team to optimise digital channels, UX, and online booking journeys.
- Integrate digital and in-studio marketing efforts to ensure consistent messaging and growth.
Budgeting & Performance
- Manage marketing budget efficiently across all channels and initiatives.
- Deliver regular performance reporting, translating insights into actionable strategy.
- Identify and implement tools, platforms, and technologies to enhance marketing effectiveness.

- Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, comfortable setting vision and rolling up your sleeves to deliver.
- Prior experience working with boutique studios or gyms.
- Strong commercial mindset, experience managing budgets, and driving measurable growth.
- Expertise across brand and performance marketing, with understanding of digital channels, CRM, and analytics.
