Senior Architect, Design team – Liverpool (Speke Office). Remote working available, with occasional travel to the office required. Full‑time, with flexibility on hours available. This role is not eligible for sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in substantial and complex projects.
  • Manage design teams to ensure effective delivery of work programmes.
  • Prepare detailed plans, coordinate design information, and produce concept and detailed drawings.
  • Administer contracts, including JCT and NEC suites, and manage project performance commercially.
  • Support and lead local and national bids, network to generate opportunities and new leads.
  • Mentor and coach junior team members whilst promoting architectural excellence.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Architect (preferably Chartered) with excellent design capabilities and technical detailing skills.
  • Experience of team management and demonstrated competence across all stages of the RIBA Plan of Work.
  • Strong knowledge of current regulations, procurement methods, contract administration, and BIM using Revit/Autodesk products.
  • Effective in growing and maintaining positive client relationships, both internally and externally.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and demonstrate innovation in design approach.
