We're looking for a Section Foreperson to join our United Utilities Framework based in Greater Manchester, specifically in Eccles. This role will work 45 hours per week with some flexibility. Please note that we are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship for this position.
As a Section Foreperson, you will supervise site activities and ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Supervising daily activities within your assigned section, ensuring all work is completed safely and meets project specifications.
- Coordinating site labour, plant, and materials to maintain smooth operations aligned with project schedules.
- Monitoring progress and proactively communicating any delays or issues to the Site Manager.
- Ensuring full compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality requirements.
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings to guide operatives and subcontractors effectively.
What are we looking for? This role is great for you if you have:
- Experience in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry.
- Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 in Construction, SSSTS/SMSTS, and a CSCS card.
- A strong understanding of construction methods and health and safety regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- A full driving licence and flexibility to work across various locations.
- Transferable skills are also welcomed.
