We're looking for a Senior Project Manager (MEP) to join our team on a major Defence project in the East Midlands. Location: Cranwell, Lincolnshire. With office visits to Rushden, Northamptonshire for Pre-construction. Hours: Full time, site based. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
About the Role
In this role you will be a Senior Project Manager within our internal MEP business. You'll be responsible for delivering projects safely, within budget, to programme and quality expectation, ensuring complete customer satisfaction. This exciting opportunity offers you the chance to develop your career with a leader in the education, health, defence and commercial sectors.
What will you be responsible for?
- Leading the project strategy and delivery plan, managing a team to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.
- Building relationships with clients, consultants and supply chain partners, maintaining clear communication to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Managing project finances, revenue, costs and cashflow, taking proactive action to prevent losses and maximise profitability.
- Overseeing design management, ensuring information is provided according to procurement strategy and programme requirements.
- Creating an inclusive workplace where wellbeing, diversity and collaboration are encouraged and valued.
What are we looking for?
This role of Senior Project Manager (MEP) is great for you if:
- You have demonstrable experience in managing construction MEP projects with sound commercial and contractual awareness.
- You're professionally qualified or working towards membership of a Professional Body (e.g. CIOB, RICS).
- You have excellent communication skills and can build collaborative relationships at all levels.
- You're passionate about health, safety and wellbeing with CSCS and SMSTS certifications.
- You have a genuine interest in creating sustainable buildings and embracing innovative construction methods.
- Any exposure to large scale Defence or public sector projects would be advantageous.
