We're looking for a Quantity Surveyor to join our team, based in London and Thames Valley.

Location: London and Thames Valley.

Hours: 40 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

As a Quantity Surveyor, you'll be working within our talented London and Thames Valley team. You'll play a key role in managing costs, maximising value, and ensuring quality and safety across a range of projects. Your day to day will include:

  • Managing commercial resources for assigned projects to maximise planned gross margin.
  • Providing expertise in valuations, claims, budget monitoring, and performance reporting.
  • Assessing and mitigating commercial and contractual risks, in line with Kier policies.
  • Authorising and overseeing project variations, contracts, and material orders.

What are we looking for?

This role of Quantity Surveyor is great for you if you have:

  • A Degree or HNC in Quantity Surveying (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the construction industry; a background with a Tier 1 Main Contractor is highly desirable.
  • The ability to understand and respond to contract issues.
  • Strong IT proficiency, especially in MS Excel and other MS Office tools.
  • Full Driving Licence.
