Who are we?
Clear Channel UK is one of the leading Out of Home media owners, with more than 30,000 advertising sites in our portfolio. Our talented team of over 600 people work in 14 locations across the country, creating and delivering some of the most memorable advertising campaigns in the UK.
The role
You will be overseeing the maintenance team, including operatives, digital technicians and electricians. Responsible for organising all maintenance related repairs on our advertising units, bus shelters and billboards, ensuring they are completed on time and to the service level agreements.
Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must as you will be managing multiple people working across Scotland. As part of this role, you will also be responsible for training new starters, the health and safety requirements for your team and looking after your fleet of vehicles. You will be providing a hands-on service with various tasks including the management of stock and working on site with your team .
You will also help our Posting & Cleaning Team from time-to time , ensuring our clients adverts are posted to a high standard and keeping the bus shelters clean for our local communities to use all year round.
The main objectives in this role
- Ensure that all allocated work is issued and completed on time and to the strict service level agreements as outlined in our contractual obligation.
- Carrying out monitoring of all tasks that enable a proactive approach to efficient work allocation.
- Conduct regular audit inspections of work completed.
- Accurate stock control – manage stock in conjunction with the depot team.
- Accident reporting and investigation.
- Target setting, regular 1 to 1 reviews and general management of individual team members. To include performance feedback and structured performance reviews.
- Provide training and monitor progress, making sure that the training provided is put into use. Also to conduct refresher training as and when required.
Requirements
- Driving Licence with no more than 3 points
- IT efficiency and an ability to work with Office 365
- Experience in a Team Leader / Managerial position.
- Hands on Maintenance experience
- Stock management experience.
