Location: Heathrow (and the South). Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Some flexibility on hours available if desired.
We're looking for a SHE advisor to join our Health & Safety Team based on sites across Heathrow (and the South). The role involves supporting Health & Safety operations across the business.
Responsibilities- Advising on all aspects of the IMS Procedures and control standards, educating, coaching and supporting continual improvement of our high standards and compliance across the business.
- Carrying out scheduled inspections and advisory visits and promoting best practice in accordance with our risk‑based approach to service support.
- Identifying areas for improvement and best practice, ensuring these areas are recorded and reported to ensure they are implemented across the whole business.
- Promoting our Think Safety Differently programme, advising on the Safe Systems at Work, Construction Phase Plans and delivering internal training on HSW systems and risk management.
- Identifying and reporting any challenges or opportunities to the Senior SHE Manager.
- Hold an IOSH recognised level 5+ Health and Safety qualification (essential).
- Be able to obtain UK Security Clearance and Enhanced BDS.
- Have a membership of a professional body (minimum Tech IOSH).
- Have working knowledge of ISO 45001.
- Excellent IT and written / verbal communication skills, able to communicate at all levels of the business including presentation and training.
- Hold a current full UK Driving Licence.
