We're looking for a Site Engineer to join our Severn Trent Contract based in Hatton.

Location: Hatton

Hours: 45 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

What will you be responsible for?

  • As a Site Engineer you'll be working within the Severn Trent Framework, supporting the operational delivery of essential water infrastructure projects.
  • You'll provide technical and functional support across site activities, ensuring quality, safety, and compliance are achieved throughout every stage of delivery.
  • Your day to day will include:
  • Carrying out setting out, surveying, and verification of works to ensure alignment with design drawings and specifications.
  • Coordinating and planning site activities in line with project programmes, resolving technical issues promptly.
  • Maintaining accurate site records, including as-built data, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and material approvals.
  • Liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, and project teams to support smooth, efficient delivery on site.
  • Promoting and upholding health, safety, and environmental standards across all site operations.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
  • Previous experience in a site-based engineering role within relevant industry.
  • Proficient in using setting out and surveying equipment (e.g. total station, GPS).
  • Understanding of technical drawings, specifications, and construction processes.
  • CSCS Card.
  • Full UK driving licence.
