Job Description

We’re looking for an Assistant Design Manager to join the Kier Places team based in London/South.

Location: London/South

Hours: 40 hours per week

We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with reviewing design information and contractor’s design packages at all RIBA stages.
  • Support the establishment of the design team and align scope and accountabilities.
  • Identify, record and mitigate design and project risks and opportunities.
  • Support pricing assumptions to align with design development.
  • Provide information and monitor activity to ensure construction aligns with approved design.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of HND/HNC/T Level or equivalent (desirable).
  • Good understanding of technical aspects of construction, including the RIBA plan of work and Building Regulations.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Full driving licence (does not need to be UK specific).
