The Role

Our client is a large multinational firm that provides a range of financial services, including advisory, investment, and asset management solutions. It serves a diverse set of clients worldwide, focusing on strategic planning, market operations, and long-term financial growth.

Job Description

What you’ll do

  • Prepare U.S. federal, state and local tax estimates, extensions, returns and supporting workpapers for multiple legal entities.
  • Produce tax accounting calculations and documentation in accordance with ASC 740.
  • Gather, analyse and validate data from internal systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct tax research and support responses to tax authority queries and deficiency notices.
  • Assist the Tax Manager with ad hoc activities and wider U.S. Corporate Tax requirements.
  • Follow and implement standard processes while managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

What you bring

  • Part-qualified or qualified ACCA, CIMA or CA accountant.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and U.S. tax regulations is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator with the ability to work effectively with international colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial systems.
  • Self-motivated team player who can prioritise workloads, meet deadlines and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
