We're looking for an Estimator to join our Construction team based in Essex, Location: Witham, Essex. Join our dynamic Construction team and play a vital role in shaping exciting projects across the region. As an Estimator, you'll be at the heart of creating successful tenders that bring value to our clients and communities. This is an opportunity to work collaboratively with talented professionals whilst developing your career in a supportive and inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Estimating project costs and resources, negotiating with suppliers and subcontractors to minimise risk and maximise profit.
  • Supporting the preparation and submission of tenders, working closely with design, planning, commercial and bid management colleagues.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with customers, consultants, contractors and suppliers throughout the tender process.
  • Guiding junior team members and sharing best practice across the estimating team.
  • Participating in project handovers to ensure smooth transitions to delivery teams.

Qualifications

This role of Estimator is great for you if:

  • You have experience working within a Main Contractor, ideally Tier 2 or above.
  • You're proficient in Excel and estimating system software.
  • You have a conscientious approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • You enjoy working collaboratively and building relationships across teams.
  • You're passionate about finding innovative solutions and delivering quality outcomes.
