We're looking for an Estimator to join our Construction Estimating team based in Solihull, West Midlands. As an Estimator, you'll play a vital role in supporting our tendering process, helping to create competitive bids that win projects whilst maintaining profitability. You'll work collaboratively with various teams to estimate project costs, identify opportunities, and manage risk effectively. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys problem‑solving, building relationships, and contributing to the delivery of significant construction projects.

Responsibilities
  • Estimate project costs and resources.
  • Prepare tender submissions that minimise risk and maximise profit.
  • Build and maintain strong commercial relationships with customers, consultants, contractors, and suppliers throughout the tender process.
  • Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors to secure competitive pricing and favourable terms.
  • Support value engineering initiatives and collaborate with design, planning, and commercial teams.
  • Participate in project handovers to ensure smooth transition to delivery teams.
Qualifications
  • Experience working with a Main Contractor, ideally Tier 2 or above.
  • Proficiency in Excel and estimating system software.
  • Conscientious working approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment and managing multiple priorities.
