We’re looking for a Clerk of Works to join our HMP Glasgow team based in Royston, Glasgow. The role is site based with 42.5 hours per week and offers some flexibility on hours. We cannot offer sponsorship certificates to any candidates for this role.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor construction activities to ensure full compliance with drawings, specifications and Scottish Building Regulations.
  • Inspect workmanship across all disciplines and identify defects or non‑compliance using digital quality tools.
  • Verify materials and support the management of Inspection.
