We are looking for an HR Business Partner to join our Kier Natural Resources team based on the South Coast. Location: South Coast – hybrid working available, with occasional travel to the office required. Hours: 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us. We are unable to offer certificates of sponsorship to any candidates in this role.
This is an exciting opportunity to partner with our Kier Natural Resources management team, providing an innovative and customer‑focused HR service. You will play a key role in driving our people plan to support business strategy, whilst embedding our wider people initiatives across the organisation. This role offers the chance to make a real impact, working collaboratively with passionate colleagues who value your expertise and insights.
Responsibilities
- Partnering with operational leaders to deliver the people plan and embed our people strategy
- Managing people matters related to contract mobilisation and demobilisation activities
- Coordinating employee relations activities and providing expert guidance on employment legislation
- Using data and metrics to drive decision‑making and identify solutions to complex people challenges
- Championing equality, diversity and inclusion initiatives throughout the business
Qualifications
- Degree qualified (or qualified by experience) with business‑partnering experience in medium to large organisations
- Strong relationship‑building skills and ability to work collaboratively with senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication skills and a good understanding of employment legislation
- Commercially aware with a pragmatic, delivery‑focused approach
- Genuine desire to drive positive change and support people development
