Marketing Assistant needed – for small marketing-related tasks

Hi, I am a stand-alone marketing manager working for a manufacturing company in the UK. It has got to the point where my workload is unmanageable and I need help with the smaller tasks.

I hope to find someone who will learn our needs and processes and can be relied upon to be available and turn tasks around quickly, with minimal input.

If successful, this will be an ongoing role for the foreseeable future. I’m afraid I can’t guarantee hours, and some periods will be busier than others.

I need someone with knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Word, and PowerPoint – you must have access to these programs. You will need to have Adobe Creative Cloud.

The tasks will include:

  • Re-creating product manual front/back covers (InDesign)
  • Organising for brochures to be printed
  • Designing and organising for labels to be printed (likely Illustrator)
  • Creating and organising for business cards to be printed (likely Illustrator or InDesign)
  • Improving CPD and PowerPoint slides to be visually more appealing
  • Image editing, for example removing backgrounds (Photoshop)

There is the potential for this position to develop and tasks might also include:

  • Designing, writing, creating LinkedIn posts
  • Designing and creating email footers (likely InDesign or Illustrator)
  • Designing and creating brochures (InDesign)
