Since I / (Eesaa) was 16 years old, I’ve been running my own e-commerce business, selling sporting goods and gym equipment nationwide within the UK. Despite having no prior experience or knowledge of this industry, I’ve faced many challenges and obstacles, yet I’ve continued to persevere. I’ve had to run every department of this business, which has made it quite difficult for me to really grow the business effectively while managing my education at the same time. Currently, I physically hold the stock that’s portrayed on my website, but I’ve faced many challenges in really getting it sold off to help build the necessary capital to grow this business. As a student, I’ve found it very difficult to handle both this business and the targets I’ve set for my career, hence the reason why I am looking for someone who can really help me out with this situation.

I am looking to create a long-term relationship with a professional business manager who understands the ecommerce world and the industry I’m in and is ready to take initiative. The objective is to really help turn this start-up around. I need someone who can help set up this business for success. The plan that has been created is to initially move away completely from holding physical goods and moving to the dropshipping method, really utilizing this to make it as effective as possible for this business. I need someone who can help set up a wholesale dropshipping store for this business, choose the right products which are of the highest quality, and ensure that shipping and customer service are at its absolute peak.

The market I intend to go for is the United Kingdom, but I would love to discuss this further as to what would be the most effective approach. I already have a marketing specialist, but as my business manager, I would want you to correlate with him back and forth to really target the marketing in the most effective way. I’m looking for someone who is willing to really grow with this business in the long term and really put their initiative forward to take action.

The ideal candidate needs to have a thorough understanding of the ecommerce world, especially the industry we operate in, and be ready to take the strong dominant initiative to help grow our business to achieve the set objective of hitting £100,000 by Jan 2024 (this is a mere target which can be discussed).

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Conducting market research to identify the latest trends and products that could increase sales
  • Developing and implementing an effective dropshipping model for the business
  • Identifying and selecting high-quality products for our store
  • Ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment and shipping
  • Helping to find a web designer
  • Developing and executing marketing strategies in collaboration with our marketing specialist
  • Preparing financial forecasts and reports to help achieve our sales targets
  • Identifying and implementing ways to optimize operational efficiencies
  • Managing inventory levels and ensuring we have enough stock to meet demand
  • Building strong relationships with suppliers, customers, and other key stakeholders
  • Being willing to grow with the business in the long term and putting forward initiatives to take action
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in an ecommerce business management role
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce and dropshipping
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive

As a start-up business, we are looking for a candidate who is willing to take the initiative and put in the effort to help us grow the business. Due to being a student and the many struggles I’ve faced, the ideal candidate will be on a COMMISSION BASED role until sales start flowing through, a 15% monthly revenue commission; once achieved, a sufficient fee will be set monthly. We are looking to create a long-term relationship.
