Overview
What you'll be doing?
- Coordinate deliveries: Ensure steel stiffeners are delivered to site on time and meet all requirements, working closely with builders and subcontractors.
- Perform site measurements: Conduct accurate on-site measurements, verifying quantities and dimensions against approved drawings before fabrication and installation.
- Generate Bills of Quantities: Create detailed BOQs based on site measurements for production planning and material tracking.
- Create technical drawings: Use AutoCAD and/or Revit to plot stiffeners into shop and coordination drawings, ensuring accuracy and constructability.
- Resolve technical issues: Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and subcontractors to address product-related and site matters promptly and professionally.
- Manage deliveries: Oversee truck drivers' site reporting and proper material handover, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Facilitate project execution: Liaise with clients and internal staff to ensure smooth project progression, including scheduling and technical query resolution.
- Monitor site progress: Oversee workmanship, installation quality, and site progress, reporting any issues to senior management.
- Ensure safety compliance: Maintain adherence to site safety rules and regulations for all workers involved in stiffener installation.
- Maintain project documentation: Keep accurate records of site measurements, deliveries, and correspondences for project documentation and claims.
Qualifications
- Educational background: Minimum Diploma level in a relevant field, demonstrating a strong foundation in construction-related studies.
- Industry experience: While at least 3-5 years of working experience in construction is preferred, candidates with no prior experience are welcomed to apply.
- Technical skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Revit is highly desirable for creating accurate technical drawings.
- Communication skills: Strong ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
- Attention to detail: Keen eye for accuracy in measurements, documentation, and quality control.
