About The Role
Based in Wolverhampton, this full-time Production Operative position with Pertemps offers £15.80 per hour on a double day shift rotation (6:00am-2:00pm and 2:00pm-10:00pm, Monday to Friday).
You will join an industrial manufacturing and distribution operation, handling, sorting, and moving materials safely across the facility.
Forklift Truck (FLT) training is provided, allowing you to operate trucks for transporting goods.

Key Responsibilities
- As a Production Operative, Your Duties Will Include
- Safely handling, sorting and moving products and materials throughout the production facility.
- Operating Forklift Trucks to transport products and materials across the site.
- Full FLT training is provided, with forklift operation forming a key part of the role.
- Carrying out visual quality inspections and identifying damaged or defective products.
- Inspecting pallets and loads to ensure they are secure, stable and ready for dispatch.
- Preparing products for collection and distribution.
- Working closely with colleagues to meet production and operational targets.
- Following all health, safety and quality procedures.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site.
Requirements
