Key Responsibilities:
- Demonstrate and showcase commercial vehicles to prospective customers.
- Welcome and assist customers visiting the site.
- Communicate effectively with customers via telephone, email, WhatsApp, and face-to-face meetings.
- Follow up sales enquiries to maximise conversion opportunities.
- Provide exceptional after-sales support to maintain customer satisfaction.
- Coordinate with the in-house valeting team to ensure vehicles are prepared and presented to a high standard.
- Create tailored WhatsApp video presentations to meet individual customer requirements.
- Support the sales team with general enquiries and day-to-day sales activities.
We are looking for a motivated, adaptable, and customer-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be hands-on, highly organised, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous sales experience, ideally within HGV.
- Valid HGV driving licence.
- Strong knowledge and experience of HGV/commercial vehicles.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Confidence in handling a high volume of customer enquiries, including 100+ WhatsApp enquiries per day.
- Proactive and hands-on approach to work.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Desirable:
- Basic mechanical knowledge of commercial vehicles.
This is primarily an office-based role; however, it will also involve working across a 15-acre vehicle yard, including vehicle access, inspections, and demonstrations.
Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00am to 5:30pm. Weekend rota required for responding to customer enquiries.
