About The Role
RGB seeks a Civil Engineer in Royal Leamington Spa for a permanent post paying £35,000–£50,000 annually. This consultancy, established in civil and structural work, is expanding its local office and needs skilled professionals to support that growth. The successful candidate joins a multi-disciplinary practice delivering services across construction, geotechnical, and surveying disciplines. Projects span minor domestic alterations through to contracts exceeding £30 million. The position operates full-time, offering genuine progression prospects within a growing team.
We are working an established civil and structural engineering consultancy who are growing their Leamington Spa office. They are looking for talented Civil Engineers to join a new office with solid growth plans.
They are a multi-disciplinary construction consultancy offering a wide range of unique in-house services to a broad client base. Teams of Civil and Structural Engineers, Architects, Geotechnical and Geo-Environmental Consultants, Development Planners and Land and Building Surveyors working on projects ranging from small domestic alterations, through to contracts over £30 million.
Key Responsibilities
- Civil Engineering Design
- Assist in the development and delivery of civil engineering schemes from concept through to detailed design.
- Design roads, drainage systems, earthworks, and associated infrastructure.
- Produce practical, cost-effective solutions that meet client and project requirements.
- Technical Delivery
- Undertake detailed design calculations, assessments, and technical reports.
- Ensure all designs comply with relevant standards, legislation, and industry best practice.
- Utilise industry-standard software to prepare models, drawings, and technical documentation.
- Project Support
- Support the technical management of projects and coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of projects on time and within budget.
- Quality and Compliance
- Prepare clear, accurate, and professional engineering documentation, including drawings, reports, and specifications.
- Maintain high standards of quality and compliance across all project outputs.
- Client Engagement
- Attend client meetings and provide technical input throughout the project lifecycle.
- Build strong working relationships and help ensure client expectations are consistently exceeded.
About You
- AutoCAD (including Vehicle Tracking) – for drafting and detailing
- Civil 3D – for 3D ground and road modelling
- MicroDrainage – for drainage design
- PDS – for road design, drainage design, traffic sign design and road marking design
