Having grown significantly to a team of over 30 employees and a fleet of 19 vehicles operating across the region, the business is now investing heavily in its M&E division as it continues its journey towards becoming a full M&E provider. The company works predominantly along the M4 corridor, with only occasional projects in London, and has built an impressive portfolio of commercial clients across the education, leisure and office sectors. The Role: Due to continued growth, our client is looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer to carry out service, maintenance and reactive works across a range of commercial sites. The role will predominantly focus on planned and reactive maintenance, fault finding and breakdowns, with occasional split-system installation work when required. The successful candidate will be a confident and technically capable engineer who is comfortable working independently, managing their own workload and taking ownership of the air conditioning requirements across the business.
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on commercial air conditioning systems
- Attend reactive maintenance and repair call-outs
- Diagnose faults and carry out effective fault finding
- Respond to breakdowns and minimise equipment downtime
- Complete occasional split-system installations
- Identify and report any further works or remedial requirements
- Ensure all works are completed in line with relevant industry standards and health & safety requirements
- Complete service reports and relevant documentation accurately
- Maintain strong relationships with commercial clients and provide excellent customer service
- Work independently while taking ownership of assigned jobs and workload
Candidate Requirements: The ideal candidate will be an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer with a strong background in commercial service and maintenance.
