About The Role
The Mand E Contract Manager West Brompton position, based in City Of London, carries a permanent salary between £67,000 and £70,000 per annum.
This fully site-based role runs Monday to Friday, with 25 days of holiday.
You will oversee daily delivery of a substantial mixed‑use development contract, managing roughly ten engineers, supervisors, and support staff.
Acting as the primary liaison between client and site personnel, you will report to Operations Management and take complete ownership of service performance.
Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems is essential, alongside proven leadership within facilities maintenance.

We are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to take full responsibility for the day‑to‑day management and successful delivery of a large, fully site‑based facilities and maintenance contract in West Brompton, which is a large mixed use development with over 300 units.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract and Operational Management
- Manage the day‑to‑day delivery and performance of the contract.
- Ensure PPM, reactive and remedial works meet agreed KPIs and timescales.
- Provide technical support, resolve site issues and ensure records are kept up to date.
- Ensure all works meet company, client and Health and Safety standards.
- Team Management
- Lead and manage an on‑site team of approximately 10 engineers and support staff.
- Monitor performance, training, resources and development.
- Maintain a professional, accountable and high‑performing team.
- Client and Contractor Management
- Act as the main point of contact for the client and key stakeholders.
- Manage client expectations and maintain strong relationships.
- Oversee contractors and ensure work is completed to the required standard.
- Manage issues, complaints and escalations effectively.
- Commercial Management
- Manage contract costs, profitability and performance.
- Identify opportunities for additional works and improved efficiency.

- Strong technical knowledge and the ability to support engineers with fault finding and problem solving.
