Role & Requirements
This is a full-time, permanent PAYE position for a Pipe Fitter with solid, hands-on experience in industrial environments. Occasional UK travel may be required depending on workload.
Essential Requirements
- Practical experience working as a Pipe Fitter within the Industrial sector
- Ability to read and interpret isometric drawings and P&IDs
- Confident in measuring, marking out and routing pipework
- Able to install carbon steel and stainless steel pipework
- Comfortable working independently once given drawings and instructions
Duties
- Install and assemble carbon steel and stainless steel pipe systems according to specifications
- Cut, thread, and bend pipes using hand and power tools
- Measure and mark pipes for cutting and threading
- Install pipe hangers and supports to ensure proper alignment and elevation
- Inspect and test installed pipe systems for leaks and functionality
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine pipe layouts.
