About The Role
This permanent HGV Class 1 Tramper role in Hereford offers £19.25 per hour plus £25 per night out. Working Monday to Friday, with an optional extra shift every other week, the driver undertakes nationwide deliveries and collections using curtain-sided vehicles, with no handballing involved. Nights away from home are a regular feature, so reliability and independence matter. A valid Class 1 (C+E) licence, solid knowledge of tachograph and driving regulations, and a professional approach to customer service are essential. Safe truck parking is provided. Full-time contract.
Permanent HGV Class 1 Tramping Driver needed in Hereford, Paying £19.25ph, £25 Night Per Night out, Monday to Friday with an optional extra day every other week, Safe car lock up. We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class 1 (C+E) Tramper Driver to join our client. This role involves nationwide deliveries and collections, requiring regular nights away from home throughout the week. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring goods are transported safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all legal and company regulations. This is an excellent opportunity for a new or experienced driver who enjoys working independently and delivering outstanding customer service.
The Role
- Full pallet deliveries using curtain-sided vehicles
- No handballing required
- Distance runs available
- Mostly Forklift or trailer swaps
Requirements
- Hold a valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence
- Hold a valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
- Be over 21 years of age (insurance purposes)
- Have no more than 9 points for minor endorsements
- Have a positive, professional and customer-focused attitude
- Take pride in maintaining a clean and tidy vehicle
- Successfully complete company induction, theory assessment, vehicle checks, driving assessment and reversing test
