Female Home Support Worker in Glasgow

Overview

Female Care at Home workers required for well established Care at Home Employer. Must be flexible with ability to work various shifts on rotation including weekend work, 20 to 25 hrs per week at £12.60 per hour. Areas of work will include Springburn & surrounding area and Eastend locations.

Employer would prefer drivers, but will consider walking shifts if customers live local and are able to start early shifts and late finishes.

Duties

• Accompany service users on short social journeys to cinema, shops, church, etc.
• Provide all aspects of personal care – bathing, toileting and dressing, etc.
• Assist with meal provision, and ensuring all dietary requirements are maintained.
• Provide a domestic and shopping service to service users.
• Record in the relevant documentation the care that has been delivered contemporaneously.
• Provide information to enable the effectiveness of care to be evaluated and records maintained.

Essential Requirements

• Successful candidates will be subject to a PVG Check.
• Must be able to provide at least 2 references.
