As a TEM Architect, you’ll play a central role in designing and optimising how energy flows through next-generation vehicles. You’ll combine modelling, simulation and engineering insight to unlock efficiency gains, improve performance, and support the transition to electrified transport. It’s a role that will challenge and grow your expertise while giving you the opportunity to channel your curiosity and see your ideas come to life in pioneering products.

WHAT TO EXPECT

You’ll join a collaborative vehicle engineering team focused on improving efficiency and performance across electric and hybrid platforms. With opportunities to influence strategy and technology, you’ll be part of work that matters for our shared future. Here’s what to expect:

  • Leading system-level modelling and simulation activities using tools such as MATLAB, Simulink and GT-SUITE
  • Creating and optimising thermal energy architectures to improve vehicle efficiency and performance
  • Developing digital twin and physics-based models to support battery systems and thermal management
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver advanced engineering solutions
  • Contributing to research, innovation initiatives and future technology roadmaps

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills you’ll need to succeed here, including:

  • Bringing experience in thermal energy management and vehicle efficiency, ideally within EV or hybrid systems
  • Applying strong system modelling and simulation expertise using MATLAB, Simulink or similar tools
  • Demonstrating knowledge of powertrain, climate systems or heat management within automotive engineering
  • Holding a degree or advanced qualification in a relevant engineering discipline, with a research-focused background advantageous
  • Showing a collaborative mindset, with the ability to analyse data and translate insights into practical solutions
