As a Power Electronics Test Engineer, you’ll play a hands-on role in developing, refining and delivering high voltage test solutions that support our charging systems and inverters. You’ll help create smarter, safer and more efficient ways of working, contributing to our shared future while crafting your skills in an environment that celebrates individuality and encourages you to seize the opportunity.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Every day brings something new. You’ll work closely with talented colleagues across Engineering Operations, supporting the commissioning of test facilities and helping to shape the methodologies that keep our products performing at their best.

  • Developing automation solutions that streamline testing and improve efficiency across our high voltage facilities
  • Creating and maintaining documentation that supports knowledge sharing and consistent ways of working
  • Supporting test planning and tracking to help the team deliver on key milestones
  • Commissioning and debugging test equipment and systems under test
  • Executing tests and contributing to diagnostics to investigate issues and support continuous improvement

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that will help you succeed here, including:

  • A degree in Electrical, Electronic or Automotive Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Understanding of power electronics and energy conversion
  • Awareness of HV and LV systems and safe working practices as well as DC/DC Converter
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation
  • Experience with test automation, scripting or data analysis and familiarity with instrumentation such as oscilloscopes and power analysers
