The Agile Delivery Lead is accountable for providing central delivery leadership, expertise, and oversight across groups and domains. The role focuses on delivery maturity, efficiency, governance, and outcomes, ensuring that squads and leadership teams are supported to deliver predictable, high quality results aligned to business priorities. While initially focused within EDS, the role is designed to scale naturally across the wider ACE (Architecture, Cross-Function & EDS) Domain within Digital Platform.

WHAT TO EXPECT

In this role, you will operate in close partnership with domain level senior leaders and their teams, enabling clarity, consistency, and confidence in delivery, and acting as a key enabler of transformation and continuous improvement. Here’s what to expect:

  • Drive and support business transformation and business improvement initiatives
  • Benchmark internal and external performance
  • Establish and uphold delivery standards and governance
  • Develop data driven insight capability across the Domain
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Along with your ambition to achieve the exceptional, there are several skills that you’ll need to have to help you succeed here, including:

  • Strong application of Agile and Lean delivery frameworks at scale (e.g. Scrum, Kanban, flow based delivery), combined with experience leading continuous improvement initiatives that drive measurable gains in efficiency, quality, or flow
  • Proven ability to define, interpret, and utilise OKRs, KPIs, and delivery metrics, using data analysis and root cause techniques to identify and resolve delivery inefficiencies
  • Ability to establish and operate delivery governance structures, including RAID management, reporting, review cadences, and multi team dependency management
  • Hands on expertise with Jira and Confluence, including structuring, dashboard creation, and the consolidation and communication of delivery insight (status, risks, financials) to senior stakeholders
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills, with the ability to align senior leaders and cross functional teams
  • Clear and effective communication, able to translate complex information into concise and actionable insights
  • Confident facilitation skills, leading structured discussions, governance forums, and problem solving sessions
