WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

In this role, you’ll play a key part in our production team. Here’s what you can expect day to day:

  • Manufacture polyurethane products in line with standard operating procedures, safety standards, and the production plan to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Prepare, mix, and process raw materials across a range of production vessels within a small team environment.
  • Take samples and accurately label and pack finished products ready for distribution.
  • Safely transport materials and finished goods across site using a counterbalance forklift truck.
  • Follow all health, safety, and operational guidelines, working efficiently while maintaining a high standard of housekeeping.
  • Work collaboratively within the team, demonstrating initiative, a positive attitude, and a proactive approach to daily tasks.

WHAT YOU OFFER

  • Experience in a production environment (ideally chemical manufacturing), with a good understanding of EHS standards.
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade 5 or above, or equivalent), in addition to basic IT skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills, able to follow procedures and instructions accurately.
  • Proactive and organised, with the ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Physically capable of performing manual aspects of the role.
  • Recent Counterbalance FLT experience with a valid licence preferred.
