Welcome to SalesRook, a company that sees things a little differently. Founded by Max and Remi, SalesRook takes pride in its AI tool, a game-changer for estate agents and mortgage brokers across the UK. However, what truly distinguishes SalesRook is its people. Rooted in understanding and empathy, SalesRook blends technology with the human touch. It’s not just about developing software; it’s about creating genuine connections through AI, instant messaging, and other cutting-edge technologies. At SalesRook, challenges are embraced, growth is a constant, and every team member plays a vital role in their shared mission.
We’re looking for an Executive Assistant to the CEO (Marketing & Business Development Focus) who’s highly organised, self-motivated, and excited to take real ownership of projects. You’ll work closely with me (Max) to remove bottlenecks, take the lead on marketing initiatives, and help us grow fast. If you’ve got a background working directly with a startup founder in marketing, content, or biz dev and want to do more than just admin support, this is the role for you. You’ll need the ability to take a brief or desired outcome and then get on the case to figure out what to do and how to do it. You’ll rely on AI and your willingness to learn new tools quickly to solve problems. Above all, we’re looking for that rare "figure it out and make it happen" mindset that thrives in our fast-growing environment.
In this role, you will:
- Drive business growth by helping increase demo volume by 30% and supporting our goal of reaching seven-figure revenues.
- Create and manage thought leadership content for blog and social media.
- Coordinate business development events and secure speaking opportunities.
- Plan and execute outreach email campaigns for qualified demos.
- Assist with proposals and marketing material creation.
- Manage affiliate and partner relationships.
- Write and distribute press releases and media updates.
- Support website updates and improvements.
- Implement CRM nurture sequences and track marketing performance.
- Manage CEO calendar, inbox, and priorities.
- Help with hiring process and team coordination.
- Document and improve company processes.
- Implement workflow automations via Make.com or Zapier.
- Align marketing with sales and product messaging.
- Represent our voice across external communications.
Working Hours: This is a full-time role with flexibility, but we’d love at least 4–5 hours of overlap with UK working hours (9 am–5 pm GMT/BST).
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- 3+ years in an Executive Assistant role with exposure to marketing, business development or content creation.
- Solid track record supporting execs in a fast-paced environment.
- Start-up or high-growth company experience.
- Excellent written communication and content creation skills.
- Familiarity with Make.com, Zapier, or other automation tools.
- Proficient with CRM and marketing automation tools.
- Confident with social media and basic marketing analytics.
- Comfortable with project management tools like ClickUp.
- Familiarity using AI tools like ChatGPT or Claude for work tasks.
Bonus Points for:
- Experience in property, real estate, SaaS, or tech sectors.
- Experience in digital marketing, content production, or campaign management.
- Understanding of AI and its use in business.
- Digital ad experience (Google, Meta, etc.).
- Event planning experience.
- Email marketing and SEO know-how.
- Podcast or video editing experience.
- Media/PR agency collaboration.
- WhatsApp Business API knowledge.
- Strong past experience in remote roles.
We’re looking for someone who’s proactive, calm under pressure, and eager to learn. You’re resourceful, organized, and not afraid to dive into something new. You know how to manage competing priorities and communicate clearly with different teams. You bring energy, empathy, and a love for getting things done efficiently and well.
What’s in it for you?
- $1,800–$2,500 USD* per month depending on experience.
- Full-time role, fully remote.
- 25 days paid time off (including public holidays).
- $600 annual learning and development budget.
- Monthly wellness budget via BetterHelp.
- Flexible working hours.
- Growth opportunities as the company scales.
- Annual reward and recognition gift.
- Option to join international meetups and events (performance-based).
- Clear path for career progression.
*Please note that this is a gross salary and that you are responsible for any tax-related procedures in your country of residence. We kindly ask you to apply only if you are happy to work remotely as an independent contractor.
