£2,000–£3,000 per month | Full-time | Fully Remote (UK hours)
We are Jamal and Ali, the founders of Your Social Currency - a fast-growing social media agency working with some of the biggest founders, entrepreneurs, and CEOs in the UK. Our team helps high-level personal brands create content that actually performs - from raw footage all the way through to publishing and growth. We are building something serious, and we are proud of the calibre of clients we work with and the results we deliver.
We are not your typical agency. We hold ourselves to a really high standard, and we are looking for people who want to be part of that. If you are someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, loves social media, and wants to work alongside some genuinely impressive names in the entrepreneur and founder space - this could be the perfect fit for you!
Role
We are looking for a Social Media Manager who can own the performance and execution of content across multiple high-level personal brand accounts. This isn’t a junior role - we need someone with sharp instincts for what works, the confidence to make decisions independently, and the drive to keep content calendars ahead while maintaining a high bar for quality.
Responsibilities
- Review raw footage after client shoots and select the strongest clips
- Identify hook moments and recommend structure for maximum impact
- Manage and populate content calendars across multiple client accounts
- Post and schedule content across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn)
- Write or adapt captions in each client’s unique tone of voice
- Respond to comments on client accounts with professionalism and authenticity
- Track performance and feed insights back to the creative team
- Research trends, competitors, and viral formats in the entrepreneurship space
- Create simple carousels or short-form edits using tools like Canva and CapCut
Role details
This is a full-time role aligned with UK hours (9am–5pm, Monday to Friday). Due to the nature of social media and working with high-level founders, there is some unpredictability - occasional weekend work and fast turnarounds come with the territory. We are looking for someone flexible, responsive, and comfortable operating at pace.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of experience managing social media accounts (agency experience preferred)
- Strong understanding of short-form organic content across Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Ability to judge content quality and identify strong hooks
- Solid copywriting skills with the ability to switch tone across different personal brands
- Confident using Canva and basic CapCut editing tools
- Strong written English
- Proactive, high-agency mindset with the ability to execute without constant supervision
Bonus points
- Basic paid media knowledge (understanding how organic and paid content complement each other)
- Familiarity with analytics tools or reporting dashboards
- Experience using workflow systems such as Notion or Airtable
- Understanding of how organic content feeds into content funnels (high-ticket offers, masterminds, consulting services)
- Experience capturing content at live shoots or posting real-time stories
- Video editing ability beyond basic CapCut (e.g., Premiere Pro or more advanced short-form editing)
The ideal candidate
The ideal candidate is highly proactive, driven, and takes full ownership of their work – someone with a 'forgiveness, not permission' mindset. You are naturally curious and analytical, always looking at what’s working and how to improve. You are confident and decisive, comfortable executing without hand-holding, and not afraid to make and learn from mistakes. You are collaborative and assertive in getting what you need from the team, genuinely passionate about the content and audiences you work with, and ready to hustle in a fast-paced, sometimes chaotic environment.
Meet Your Manager
You will be reporting to Ilija, our Ops Manager, with oversight from our founders Ali & Jamal. Ilija travels the world while working and trains kickboxing in his spare time - so you will be working with someone who knows a thing or two about discipline, adaptability, and making things happen from anywhere.
What’s in it for you?
- £2,000–£3,000 per month
- Full-time role, fully remote (with UK time zone alignment)
- Minimum 20 days paid holiday + public holidays
- Paid sick leave
- Investment in your growth - training, courses, and ongoing development
- Genuine progression opportunities as the company scales - we promote from within
- Flexibility around working location, as long as UK hours are maintained
Please note that this is a gross salary and that you are responsible for any tax-related procedures in your country of residence. We kindly ask you to apply only if you are happy to work remotely as an independent contractor.
