Create native, high-retention TikTok content for multiple brands.
We are Nonsensical, a creative agency that focuses on making content that feels native, fun, and impossible to scroll past. We work with brands, creators, and teams who want to show up on TikTok in a smarter, fresher way, helping them with edits that cut through the noise. We move fast, experiment often, and keep things human.
We shout people out when they win, run weekly all-agency wrap-ups to keep everyone connected, and hand out a paid award every week to someone who embodies our values: honesty, passion, creativity, and curiosity. If you want a place where good work gets noticed and good energy spreads quickly, you’ll feel right at home here.
We are looking for a Senior TikTok Video Editor - someone who lives on the platform, understands what makes people stop the scroll, and can turn raw footage into high-performing edits across multiple brands. You should be able to take messy creator clips, rough scripts, or half-formed ideas and turn them into content that feels fast, native, and genuinely entertaining.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Edit high-performing TikTok-first videos across multiple brands
- Turn raw creator footage into platform-native, optimised content
- Add captions, graphics, hooks, sound design, and TikTok-style pacing
- Work with UK-based producers to refine scripts, storylines, and cuts
- Maintain high quality and ensure every edit feels 'Nonsensical-level'
- Hit tight deadlines without losing creativity
- Manage several projects at once and stay in sync with our content calendar
- Occasionally advise creators on best-practice filming approaches
Working hours: full-time, 9:00–17:30 UK time. You will report to our Head of Content.
Here are the must-haves:
- 2+ years editing TikTok-first vertical videos (agency or creator background)
- Expert in CapCut and Adobe Premiere Pro
- Strong instinct for TikTok pacing, hooks, retention, and storytelling
- Able to turn mediocre footage into great content
- Experience editing for multiple brands or creators at once
- Reliable, organised, and comfortable working asynchronously with a UK team
- Solid understanding of TikTok trends, transitions, and platform nuances
Brownie points:
- Motion graphics or light animation skills
- Experience with influencers, UGC creators, or TikTok Shop content
- Experience editing for US or UK audiences
- Eye for thumbnails, captions, and wider creative ideas
- Understanding TikTok Ads best practices
- Ability to suggest new editing techniques or visual ideas
The ideal candidate is detail-obsessed, proactive, calm under pressure, and creatively curious. They experiment often, stay reliable even on tight deadlines, communicate clearly, and handle quick feedback without drama. They understand TikTok culture inside out, love solving editing problems, and bring positive energy to every project.
What’s in it for you? $2,200 - $3,000 per month. Full-time role, fully remote. 20 days PTO. Please note that this is a gross salary and that you are responsible for any tax-related procedures in your country of residence. We kindly ask you to apply only if you are happy to work remotely as an independent contractor.
This is our typical hiring process - occasionally, it may include extra steps. For this role, JobRack is partnering with Nonsensical to find their next hire. We’ll handle all the screening and testing, so they see only the best-fit candidates.
How to shine:
- Read the role details carefully.

- Stay responsive - we’ll keep you updated at every stage.
Important notes:
- Apply only through JobRack; please don’t contact the company directly.
- We expect a respectful hiring experience - any disrespect means instant disqualification.
- This is a full-time, primary role (no freelancing or second jobs).
