We are looking for a strategic and hands-on Head of Finance to lead our finance team and provide a comprehensive financial management and accounting service for all aspects of the Trust.

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and develop the Finance team, championing a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial reporting.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and advice to the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Trustees, supporting key decisions and business development.
- Guarantee robust financial management, statutory compliance, and adherence to charity finance regulations and best practice.
- Act as the day-to-day finance link with internal teams and external partners, including auditors, banks, and grant funders.
- Lead process improvements, implement best practice, and support key organisational projects to ensure efficiency, value for money, and financial sustainability.
What We’re Looking For:
- A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
- Experience in charity, not-for-profit, or public sector finance
- Proven track record in financial management, business planning, and team leadership
- Strong knowledge of charity finance, governance, and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication, IT, and analytical skills
- Passion, integrity, and a drive for continuous improvement
- A driving licence and willingness to travel between sites is essential.
