Job Description

We are looking for a commercially minded

FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a junior analyst who is ready to take the next step in their career and gain exposure to senior stakeholders across the business.

You will play a key role in producing high-quality financial reports, analysing business performance, and supporting budgeting and forecasting activities.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working with large datasets, responding to ad hoc business requests, and presenting clear insights to senior finance leaders.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys combining technical reporting skills with stakeholder engagement and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce accurate and timely financial reporting outputs using structured datasets.
  • Develop and maintain weekly, monthly, and ad hoc management reports.
  • Perform variance analysis across revenue, costs, and key business drivers.
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy across reporting outputs and financial views.
  • Validate and reconcile financial data to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  • Work closely with finance and systems teams to understand reporting structures and data flows.
  • Build and enhance reporting models, templates, and dashboards using Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting processes through data preparation and consolidation.
  • Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from finance leadership and operational stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to automate and standardise reporting processes to improve efficiency.
  • Deliver clear, concise outputs that support decision-making at a senior level.

Qualifications

  • Experience in an FP&A, financial reporting, commercial finance, or analyst role.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and complex formulas.
  • Experience working with multidimensional reporting models, including Cube formulas/functions.
  • Strong data manipulation, validation, and reconciliation skills.
  • An understanding of financial reporting and profit and loss structures.
  • The ability to translate complex data into meaningful business information.
  • Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and presenting findings clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Desirable Experience

  • Power BI or similar reporting and visualisation tools.
  • SQL or experience querying and analysing large datasets.
  • ERP system experience such as SAP or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes.
