As a Data Platforms Product Manager, you will create innovative solutions that our customers love and empower internal teams to create business value within the global EDO team. Working closely with product design and engineering teams, you will discover and deliver cutting‑edge solutions to market. A key focus will be leading our transformation from legacy centralized warehouses to a federated Data Mesh architecture built on Databricks. You will take full autonomous ownership of the Data Mesh platform, treating data as a first‑class product, while partnering with Engineering leads to deliver a self‑service platform that empowers our Data Hubs to efficiently publish and consume high‑quality data.
Responsibilities/accountabilities will also include:
- Conduct regular user experiments to test new ideas and functionality
- Ensure quality delivery in AI Technology products and all product management activities
- Shape and develop new features from concept to customer use
- Collaborate with business and IT leaders for product support, and coordinate with support teams to address issues and bugs efficiently
- Own end-to-end responsibility for Data Platforms products
- Identify and implement product improvements based on data insights
- Effectively communicate product vision, status, and timelines to stakeholders
- Represent and promote AI Technology platform and product portfolio through participation in local and global EDO events
- Stay current with Databricks and Data Mesh innovations, market trends, and hyperscale developments, including their value propositions and target audiences
Qualifications and required experience:
- Solid experience in data product management, driving innovation and product roadmaps in technology‑based environments
- Demonstrated expertise in modern product discovery and delivery methodologies, with experience in business analysis with focus on user research
- Experience in leading change management initiatives and stakeholder management across multiple organizational levels
- History of successful product delivery in fast‑paced environments, showing ability to manage ambiguity and balance competing priorities
- Self‑driven, creative and curious, with a customer‑centric mindset
This role can be based in multiple locations within the UK with the flexibility to travel as required.
