We’re looking for a hands‑on Project Manager to lead the rollout of operational change across our UK&I store estate. This role is focused on how change is implemented, experienced and embedded in stores – ensuring initiatives are delivered smoothly in a live retail environment, with minimal disruption to trading. You’ll play a key role in turning business ideas into practical, executable plans that work in stores. Acting as the link between Head Office and stores, you will coordinate multiple initiatives and ensure they land effectively across the retail estate.
Projects will include:
- Store updates and format changes
- Rollout of new equipment (e.g. cabinets, screens, terminals, hardware)
- Policy and process changes
- In‑store operational and customer experience initiatives
- Supporting technology‑enabled rollouts from an implementation perspective
Key Responsibilities
Operational Delivery
- Deliver end‑to‑end rollout of operational initiatives across stores
- Ensure changes are clearly planned, communicated and successfully adopted by store teams
- Translate business initiatives into practical, store‑ready delivery plans
- Ensure stores are fully prepared, including training, communication and execution support
- Minimise disruption to trading through effective planning and coordination
- Capture feedback from stores and continuously improve delivery
Coordination & Execution
- Act as the central coordination point between Head Office and stores
- Manage multiple concurrent projects with clear priorities and timelines
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams including Retail Operations, Property, IT and Communications
- Work closely with business owners to ensure initiatives are delivered as intended
- Support property and equipment rollouts from an operational execution perspective
Stakeholder & Store Engagement
- Build strong relationships with Retail Operations and field teams
- Ensure clear, simple and practical communication to stores
- Drive engagement and adoption of change across store teams
- Ensure delivery works in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment
People Leadership
- Line manage and support a Project Manager, ensuring high standards of delivery
- Coach and develop team members
- Promote a practical, delivery‑focused team culture
