To deliver new business (logo’s) sales to meet individual target. Generate and follow up leads and appointments through own networking and proactive prospecting as well as using Coface marketing resources. Develop interest and awareness within the Irish Market of Coface; the information packages we have available and to secure profitable business for Coface. To look for opportunities with companies in between 50m-500m turnover and ideally with HQ based in UK for all product lines, thereby maximising contribution. Develop and build a network of introducers and partnerships in order to provide new business leads. Establish close business relationships with prescribers (international brokers), to consolidate our market share in this segment. To work closely with Commercial Management, the Marketing Department in managing leads and feeding back activity results. Produce accurate contract documentation via our proprietary CofaFlow system and use of Legal and Pre-sales. Perform full KYC (know your customer) and UBO (ultimate beneficial owner) checks on all policies sold. To work closely with the “Administrative” teams to ensure a timely and efficient service to prospects and clients. Ensure prospecting, qualification of opportunities with high-level contacts: CFO, Treasury directors, Risk Managers. Manage offers to RFPs, the strategy of its offers as well as the closing of deals with the support of its Region & of Group. Provide with a monitoring of its actions as well as a regular reporting to management. Convert internal leads. Leverage from Coface Trade Credit Insurance team across the UK portfolio of Insured clients.

Qualifications

  • Degree educated (ideally 2.1 min) in Business and/or Finance related discipline
  • Experience with the concept of Business Information, the mechanics of such products and successful track record of selling business information products
  • Proven experience (~6 years+) of working within mid to large corporates with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Autonomous: able to self-motivate and focus on goals and activities while working on one’s own
  • Experience of self-lead generation
  • Sales negotiation and communication skills
  • Able to build rapport and long-term relationships with clients and build productive networks
  • Prioritisation: determines the importance of each task and allocates time accordingly
  • In depth familiarity and knowledge of various contract structures to provide a consultative solution
  • Knowledge of current economic climate and how it affects the market
  • Understanding of financial intelligence e.g. analytical reports and financial grading
