As a member of Sportradar’s Global People Leadership Team, the Senior Director, Divisional People Partner – Corporate Functions & Talent Acquisition, will provide strategic human resources business partnering to the Chief Legal Officer, Chief Finance Officer and the Chief People Officer. This role will also oversee overall responsibility for Talent Acquisition globally, along with the Director, Talent Acquisition that will report into this role.

The incumbent will work closely with our People Centres of Excellence, Local People Advisors based in countries and People Operations across the globe. The individual will be responsible for co‑developing, adapting and executing the People strategy in the respective divisions and fostering a positive culture of growth and innovation within a fast‑paced, change‑driven environment.

This position will lead in particular but not only the talent strategy, and organizational development, performance management, culture and engagement and organizational capabilities agenda, along with day‑to‑day employee relations and coaching to fuel a results‑oriented and high‑performing workforce for the respective division.

The Senior Director, Divisional People Partner – Corporate Functions & Talent Acquisition will report to the Chief People Officer.

THE CHALLENGE:

Act as a partner to People, Finance & Legal divisional leads, handling end‑to‑end HR support and guidance on various employee matters for leaders and senior managers in the unit, and in close partnership with the People Advisory and People Operations Team. With a solid business acumen, ensure a robust understanding of the Finance, Legal and People strategic agendas, functional roles, processes, best practices and trends to align and adapt the Global People strategy with the business needs.

Ensure a robust delivery of the Global People Strategy across the division, advise and coach client group specifically on:

  • Talent and Succession: Ensure talent pipeline meets the company ambition in line with the People Strategy. Identify upskilling/reskilling needs, develop, and execute the capabilities plan, including yearly divisional learning plans and effective resource planning and hiring. Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to build a world class talent pipeline, ensuring the fit for purpose workforce planning and talent sourcing to deliver the divisional requirements.
  • Total Rewards: Implement the relevant initiatives on compensation, benefits and job grading in line with our global framework.
  • Performance Management: Accountable to drive the divisional scorecard alignment to the company goals, cascade to leadership teams and units, execute of the full Performance cycle in the division; ensure quality of goals, spot audits and coach and guide leaders to lead an efficient and high performing division.
  • Culture and Engagement: Guardian of the company values; drive culture and engagement initiatives that foster an environment where company values are embedded into everyday work.
  • Change Management & Organization Effectiveness: Prepare, support and drive change management and necessary organizational effectiveness initiatives.
  • Talent Acquisition: Assume overall accountability and strategic outlook for the Talent Acquisition unit within the People Division, working closely and guiding the Director – Talent Acquisition who will manage all aspects of the day to day operation, line manager for the TA partners in the team, and the progress against the assigned KPIs for the Unit.

Other Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the global Centres of Excellence (Total Rewards, People Systems, People Advisory and Operations, People Potential and Organizational Development) to develop and deliver best‑in‑class people practices.
  • Work as One Team with the People Leadership Team share experience and best practices with global counterparts and operate in line with the People RACI and processes.
  • Advise the unit client group in driving company values, and engagement initiatives.
  • Partner with the Country People Advisors to ensure employee relations and day‑to‑day are executed locally plan and to ensure Divisional priorities are embedded in the divisional teams on location.

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Minimum 10 years in Human Resources, including minimum 5+ years in a senior leader position as Head of People/HR Business Partner/ Director, in global matrix organization.
  • Solid knowledge and know‑how as generalist practitioner in talent acquisition, talent development, compensation and benefits, performance management, change management and knowledge of labor law principles are desired.
  • Business and financial acumen.
  • Agile and can do attitude.
  • Ability to manage priorities.
  • Strong communication, with ability to adapt to different stakeholder groups.
  • Project management skills.
  • Previous experience partnering with senior leaders in a globally distributed workforce.
  • This role will require occasional travel, both domestically and internationally.
  • Fluent English both written and spoken; any additional language would be a plus.
