We are looking for an Insurance Client Manager to join a high-performing client relationships team within a leading investment management business. This is an excellent opportunity to work closely with insurance clients, delivering a high-quality, responsive service while building strong, long-term partnerships. You will act as a trusted point of contact, providing technical support, coordinating solutions across the business, and contributing to positive client outcomes. The role also offers the opportunity to support and mentor colleagues, helping to drive collective success and continuous improvement.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing day-to-day relationships with insurance clients, delivering a high standard of service and support.
- Coordinating and resolving client enquiries by working closely with teams across the business.
- Providing technical insight on investment products, client strategies and market developments.
- Attending client meetings and calls, supporting discussions and leading operational or audit meetings where required.
- Developing a strong understanding of client objectives and identifying potential risks and opportunities.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver client projects, data requests and change initiatives.
- Producing and reviewing client reporting, documentation and investment-related materials.
- Embedding Consumer Duty principles by delivering good client outcomes and responding to feedback effectively.
Who we’re looking for:
- Experience within investment management, with a focus on client service and relationship management.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with external clients, including senior stakeholders.
- Strong investment knowledge, including institutional products such as credit, private markets and LDI.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to identify client needs, risks and opportunities.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to deadlines.
- Collaborative mindset with the confidence to work across teams and contribute to shared goals.
- Degree educated (or equivalent), with IMC or a relevant professional qualification desirable.
