The Healthcare content lead is responsible for leading the planning, development, and delivery of integrated content programmes and activations for our healthcare client deliverables. This role is both strategic and executional, ensuring all content is effectively planned with the client, produced to a high standard, and delivered seamlessly across channels, including live experiences, booths, and activations. You will act as the central point of coordination across client, internal teams, and partner agencies, ensuring content and assets are delivered on time, on brief, and aligned to programme objectives. While ensuring cross-functional alignment on the congress booth experience and attendee journey. This role requires exceptional project management, content expertise, and client relationship skills, along with the ability to lead and develop a high-performing content team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Planning & Strategy: Partner with clients to develop and manage integrated content plans, aligning to business goals, campaign strategies, and activation needs. Translate client objectives into clear content deliverables/experiential touchpoints, timelines, and asset requirements. Oversee the evolution of content plans across the lifecycle of a programme, adapting to changing needs. Ensure all content outputs are cohesive across channels, including digital, physical activations, and experiential environments.
  • Project & Programme Management: Lead the end-to-end management of multiple complex content programmes, from briefing through delivery. Build and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, workflows, and status reporting. Ensure all content and assets are delivered on time, on budget, and to scope. Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and bottlenecks, implementing solutions to keep delivery on track. Establish and optimize content production processes and workflows.
  • Asset & Production Management: Oversee the development, tracking, and delivery of all content assets from Jack, ensuring quality and consistency. Manage inputs and deliverables from external agencies and partners, ensuring alignment to content plans and deadlines. Coordinate asset production across formats including video, digital, print, environmental, and experiential assets. Maintain clear asset governance, version control, and approval processes. Ensure all materials are activation-ready (e.g. booths, events, installations).
  • Cross-Agency & Stakeholder Coordination: Act as the central point of integration across multiple agencies, ensuring seamless collaboration. Align stakeholders on timelines, deliverables, and responsibilities. Lead regular status meetings and communications across internal teams and external partners. Resolve cross-team challenges and ensure accountability across all contributors.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, becoming a go-to lead for content and delivery. Facilitate content planning discussions, providing proactive recommendations and solutions. Clearly communicate programme status, risks, and opportunities. Manage expectations, including scope changes and out-of-scope requests, with confidence and transparency. Demonstrate a deep understanding of client objectives, brand, and audience needs.
  • Content & Creative Oversight: Ensure the quality, consistency, and integrity of all content deliverables. Translate creative concepts into practical, executable content plans and asset outputs. Partner closely with creative, strategy, and production teams to bring ideas to life. Identify opportunities for innovation in content formats, storytelling, and execution.
  • Team Leadership & Development: Lead and mentor a team of content producers and junior team members. Set clear expectations, provide ongoing feedback, and support professional development. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and high performance. Ensure the team is effectively resourced and supported across programmes.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Extensive experience delivering integrated content programmes within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or healthcare communications environments (ideally 6-8+ years).
  • Proven success managing complex content and experiential projects across multiple channels, stakeholders, and agency partners.
  • Strong client leadership skills with the ability to build trusted relationships and provide strategic counsel.
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams while driving collaboration across disciplines.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare communications, congresses, and content development within regulated environments.
