Escalator Engineer Night Jobs Location: Greater London (including Gatwick & Stansted rail stations) Hours: 19:00 – 7:00, 4 on 4 off (12‑hour shifts with 45‑minute unpaid break) Salary: Basic salary up to £75K (depending on skills and experience) + overtime and paid door‑to‑door benefits. Join Stannah as an Escalator Engineer working across some of the UK’s busiest transport hubs, including key rail and underground sites. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of high‑profile escalator systems, ensuring safe, reliable operation across Greater London. Your work will cover all of Greater London, with additional assignments at Gatwick Airport station and Stansted Airport station. The role is focused on transport infrastructure, meaning you will be working in high‑profile, safety‑critical environments without the need for wide regional travel. Responsibilities * Conduct maintenance, repairs, and callouts on escalators and moving walkways from various manufacturers. * Ensure high standards of service delivery, safety and customer care. * Perform effective risk assessments and maintain site log cards during every visit. Qualifications * NVQ Level 3 in Escalator Engineering or equivalent. * Proven experience working on escalators and moving walkways. * Valid UK driving licence.
