The Role

Capco’s Associate Consulting Programme (ACP) is designed for early-career professionals looking to begin a consulting career within Financial Services. As an Associate Consultant, you will join a cohort of new consultants and complete a structured training programme before working on real client projects. You will be aligned to a core domain: Banking & Payments, Capital Markets, Insurance, or Wealth & Asset Management, gaining exposure to transformation initiatives and AI-enabled ways of working. Working alongside experienced consultants, you will help clients modernise platforms, improve operations, and respond to an evolving industry landscape.

What You’ll Do

  • Support transformation initiatives across Financial Services, conducting research, data analysis, and process mapping to solve client problems.
  • Develop key project artefacts including requirements, presentations, and analysis outputs while contributing to business analysis, testing, and operational change.
  • Participate in client meetings and workshops, collaborating with stakeholders and using tools, accelerators, and AI to deliver data-driven outcomes.

  • University graduate with strong communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills, able to structure complex information clearly.
  • Interest in Consulting and Financial Services, with curiosity & knowledge of trends across one or more of our domains.
  • Experience using AI tools and a strong interest in how AI is shaping the future of work.
  • Proactive, curious, and collaborative mindset with strong attention to detail.

Bonus Points For

  • 6 months’ experience in consulting, financial services, fintech, or technology, with exposure to transformation, operations, or regulatory concepts.

You’ll begin with a two-week immersive training programme covering Financial Services fundamentals, consulting skills, and real-world case simulations. Following this, you’ll join a client project, supported by a dedicated career coach and peer buddy, while continuing to receive ongoing learning through training, certifications, and on‑the‑job experience.
