At Stannah, we're proud to support Network Rail in delivering safe, reliable, and accessible travel for millions of passengers. We're looking for a highly organised and proactive Contracts Administrator to join our Network Rail team, playing a key role in ensuring we meet our contractual commitments while delivering exceptional service to our customer.

You'll be at the heart of a fast-paced operation, working closely with branch teams, managers, subcontractors and Network Rail stakeholders to manage critical contract data, track performance, and ensure essential maintenance activities are accurately recorded and reported.

As a Contracts Administrator, you'll help drive operational excellence by maintaining key records, monitoring compliance, producing reports, coordinating contract activities and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

We're looking for someone who thrives in an administrative role, enjoys working with data and processes, and takes pride in delivering excellent customer service. You'll have strong organisational skills, excellent attention to detail, and the confidence to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

Working hours will be Monday to Thursday, 9am - 17:15pm and Friday, 9am till 16:45pm.

Contracts Administrator Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the Network Rail Management team, ensuring reports, deadlines, and data updates are completed accurately and on time.
  • Maintain high standards of health, safety, environmental compliance, and quality in all work activities and records.
  • Communicate effectively with managers, colleagues, branches, Network Rail, and customers, providing accurate information and support.
  • Drive continuous improvement by reviewing performance, monitoring KPIs, sharing best practices, and identifying more efficient ways of working.
  • Deliver excellent customer service while developing knowledge, skills, and training to support business objectives and Network Rail requirements.
Contracts Administrator Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a busy administrative role.
  • Excellent planning, prioritisation, and organisational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong data interpretation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Comfortable working under pressure and handling sensitive situations with professionalism.
