What will you be doing? We’re seeking a talented individual to join our team in Liverpool, which is responsible for focusing on the operational support of our Core Wealth platforms and the associated users of these. Working closely with both business stakeholders and our third party platform providers, the role develops a deep understanding of how the systems work, to provide technical support in investigating and resolving issues, and triaging requests.
Responsibilities
- Level 2 technical support of our core Wealth Management platforms
- Work with our suppliers and internal development teams in incident, request, and change management processes
- Prioritising technical issues based on impact and urgency while managing a queue of incidents and requests, ensuring work notes are maintained
- Provide support for application configuration, releases and upgrades.
- Problem analysis and resolution for application problems, in conjunction with the business users and third party suppliers where necessary.
- Participation in testing and release management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience of working in Wealth Management or similar with an understanding of Portfolio management suites and trading platforms
- Previous experience in an Application Support role or similar
- Proficient IT skills in core Microsoft Office systems
- Previous experience / awareness of SQL, Rest API, JIRA, and Confluence
- Analytical way of thinking along with an eye for detail and be a first-class problem solver
- Delivery focused, able to multi-task and very much a team player
Desired:
- Knowledge of key applications such as Iress, Avaloq, Fidessa would be highly desirable
